  • Wow, this is actually a good video, not just some random theories. I really didn't realize the foreshadowing in the beginning.

But I doubt the old man's locks were removed. The game was supposed to be fair (even tho it wasn't 100% fair bcs they knew about the doctor tricks and ofc they took care of Ilman) but in case they couldn't win the game, then how could they justify the fact that the old man didn't fell? They had to pretend that the game was fair, not make things so obvious. I think most probably they only helped them to compete against a weaker team and he actually had the locks, but on the other side of the bracelets and it's not visible on the camera.

True, especially since he was about to die anyway. But they would have definitely found a way.

  • Is that the same video where the foreshadowing of various characters' deaths is revealed?

  • I still don't like the twist at the end. The old guy we've come to love turned out to be the evil mastermind who did it because......he was bored. That's it. No real

People shit on Sowrd Art Online a ton because of how the story fell apart after the first few episodes but that anime has the same overall story trope - the creator designed the the death game because he was bored.

What's worse is that the more you think about it and look for clues the more it's becomes clear the game is heavily rigged in his favour despite supposedly the game being built on fairness for all contestants. So he's a hypocrite as well.

The ending really sucked and dragged the series down
