I still don't get those who like Spicy.

Both are bops but I prefer Spicy.

I like the bass in Lover Like me and that weird synth thing during the chorus so Lover like me.

Spicy was (imo)

Overall, "Spicy" has more of a vibe in terms of beat and bassline. I particularly like the statement of, "Energy. Power. Chemistry." I also like songs with similar "artsy wording" like Janelle Monáe's "Many Moons" and "Dance or Die".

The verses in "Lover Like Me" are pretty good. The chorus just doesn't activate my sensors on the same level as "Spicy" or other CL-MV singles.
