CLC member Elkie has terminated her contract with CUBE Entertainment and will be leaving the group.
The South Korean label announced today (February 3) that its contract with the Hong Kong-born K-pop idol has come to an end, and will no longer be a part of CLC as a result. The company also noted that it was a “mutual agreement” by both parties.

Dismissed seems a bit much, wasn't it her choice to cancel the contract? Not saying she was treated fairly but nonetheless it was mutual.
Similar story of Idols not being paid. Company just begins to ignore them while they continue to work. At some point not being paid or allowed in the company dorms the idol has to take the company to court for a breach of contract.
It was added CLC is no longer in the creative loop of the company.
As a 4Minute fan, CLC was the younger group in the company. CLC are the unnies now and {G}I-Dle are the younger group. Kpop is ruthless.
