the only bl drama that i liked is taiwanese drama We Best Love (this title wtf), and i tried and dropped many. acting is PHENOMENAL, seriously, you'll be surprised how good it is. their chemistry is off the charts, i still cannot move from them and it's been months. sadly, there are only 12 30 minute episodes
s3 was semi announces but who knows what's going on there. the producers and actors had no idea the show would be this successful, bless them.thai bl's romanticize rapey behavior and portrayed it as romantic. "why you're resisting, you know you want it" type of behaviour. i didn't watch it but i saw gifs on tumblr. lovely writer: the series calls out this behaviour. there's a scene where the main lead who's a tv show writer and the series director are arguing about sexual assault being portrayed as romantic, it's a really good scene. please keep that energy in all other upcoming series. i never watched chinese bl's (or should i say, bromance), i really don't have time to watch shows with 40 or more episodes.

i wasn't really interested in the main couple's story, i was there for 2nd leads and ended up watching their scenes only. glad they are getting their own show but sad that if all went as planned we should have been watching it atm.
and they haven't even started filming it. damn you, covid. i knew something like this would happen; i stopped watching bl's 5 years ago and now that i'm excited about a show, the filming date keeps getting postponed. blah. -
