When I realised companies can reject solo cf offers for their artists and recommend someone else, so I saw someone on this forum say jyp did that to Ahn so hee of wonder girls so I went back to the old archives and it was actually true , jyp did reject her solo offers and drama offer and gave it to Suzy . I think some companies are still doing these, I have a feeling jyp entertainment is still doing this

There is a chance that idol doesnt want that deal and you cant blame the company for trying to snatch it for another idol of theirs instead of letting it go to someone else
Nah, I heard in most cases the idols are available is just the entertainment just wants to promote the other idol/artist

I have a conspiracy theory of companies rejecting CFs to restrict idols' money so it's harder for them to leave + other reasons lol -
Seohyun on TV outright said she hated SM because they rejected 2 projects for her, architecture 101 and Train to Busan, without even notifying her in the first place.
