starting today she has been a member of SCANDAL for literally half of her life !

they are going to release a limited edition drumkit based on Rina's personal gear

15 years! i bet they have fans younger than that

SCANDAL probably has my favorite discography of any musical act, i just have too much to say about them

to keep it short i just find it incredible how in 2006 a group of four high school girls decided to start a band and it just snowballed into one of the most influential girl bands in Japan's history

also, back in February of this year SCANDAL launched a poll asking fans to vote for their favorite songs, today the results were published in the form of a Spotify playlist

the playlist is a great!

while i feel that lots of older releases are missing, like "Future"or "One piece", i do love the variety in the picks, for example i knew that SCANDAL BABY was going to top the list but many others ended being a surprise,

my only real complaint its that Bitter chocolate didn't make it, its my favorite Tomomi song

this video is one of the earliest know recorded performances of the band, around late 2007

the look so young (i guess they were!) this was before signing with a label and a year before debuting, i'm really glad that someone took their time to record this video of the band despite them being unknown at the time

but what is more amazing about SCANDAL is the impact they have on the scene, like half of all girl bands that debuted post-2010 mention SCANDAL as one of their inspirations

no wonder since they have one of the best discographies ever, if you asked me to make a top 50 of the best SCANDAL songs i don't think i would be able
