It's an inside joke when someone uses day, graph, evolved, mystic, or shy AKP styles since Dark styles are the more popular option and many people on AKP don't like light mode.
To change your style, you can just go to settings or click on the pallete on the very top of your page or the "Change Style" on the very, very bottom of your page.

Retro is a dark style, or at least dark adjacent.

OH I'M SORRY...
I was thinking of the Evolved version I think.
Retro was the very, very first one I used on the new forums but I ended up not liking it for some reason. I think it was the background that distracted me. It was pretty and cool but not for me.
Shy is okay but pink or orange doesn't show up that well on it so our guild aesthetics are basically a dud on that one.
