They are cultural icons. And their impact goes beyond sales, awards, nunbers now

They are representative face of hallyu wave forever and crossed the boundaries of kpop icons to actual soft power icons.

People can argue about digitals, physicals , melon weeks whole day

BTS's legacy is beyond it now

Such a proud moment for them and their families and army who were with them, when they had nothing.

The will forever be biggest artist in korea and outside it too. They have taken korean culture to other level

They have been since atleast 2017 imo. Even me who wasn't familiar with kpop knew who BTS was, my friends who dgaf about kpop or even western pop, heck ones who don't know the difference between Seoul and Tokyo used to talk about them and their international awards even back then.

Being invited to the U.N multiple times, meeting the sk president, they are the face of sk to a major portion of the young gen and I doubt that will change anytime soon.
