they are filming for some time already but this will probably be either 1st or 2nd on-stage group assignment after initial evaluation performances in the first 2-4 episodes when mentors will judge trainees' performances for the first time.

In Youth with You trainees always first come to the show, and they demonstrate what they've learned "pre-show" in homes, dance-studios, etc.

auditions were done before those 119 trainees even entered show.

The first stages for all are named "initial evaluation" in which trainees get their grades/classes after being judged by mentors.

Then you both probably know how things work later on, some best boys will be leaders of groups and they will need to select teammates/or trainees will make those "blind" choices knowing only title/concept of song.

Then there will be group vs. group on-stage battles etc.

And before one of those group battles mentor Lisa might teach trainees BP choreo.
