This might sound stupid, but most of my Korean that I've picked up I learned from Kdrama watching. One word I struggle with a lot is Saranghanda. I know it's a way to say I love you, and it's like a matter of fact way to stay it... high formality, low politeness. I get that. But in the dramas omegle xender ONLY men say it. In Goblin he says it, in Hotel Del Luna Gu Chang Seong says it, in My Love From The Star he says it and Ah Min in Do Bong Soon says it. I've never heard it from a girl. Is it more masculine? The girls all respone with Saranghae or Saranghaeyo.

now i'm not fluent in korean, but i do know that it is not masculine. it's a form of the verb used to friends or younger. which explains a bit why it's usually said by males, as they tend to be older than the female lead character
you can hear female's say it sometimes, i remember it being said by the female lead in It's Okay To Not Be Okay, but it's on the informal side and can seem quite emotionless (or even rude if used to older). this again says that males will be saying it more as it's quite normal in k-dramas to have "cold" male leads
