I think based on taeyeon's great physical sales they for sure could outsell many newer ggs but 1 Million would require SM investing on the promo, like having them hold multiple fansigns/fancalls, multiple versions, long preorder period, USA distribution, etc and I don't think they could, not only because SM is bad at promoting older acts but because SNSD members aren't in the stage where they would do that kind of promo

they need a rolling level catchy HIT and some Japanese promo, couple of radio shows in Korea, 3-4 performances in US shows and boom, you have a million seller.
