NiziU is still related to Kpop, get over it

  • Yes they are catered more to Japan, and are predominantly Jpop. But let’s not pretend they didn’t have a whole predebut single with a Korean version

And let’s not pretend like there aren’t fluent Korean speakers amongst them

They’re in the same position as WayV. They’re predominantly Cpop, but still promote and aim towards Korea. Not to mention Exo M & SUJU M

Don’t forget IZ*One existed as both Kpop & Jpop

I’m pretty sure it’ll get thru peoples heads more when NiziU make an official Korean debut (which may be in the works in the future)

And before someone who has 2 brain cells left says “tHEy nO kPop wiTH nO kOREan mEMber”, cuz you know very well that’s not what Kpop means.

There are full Korean groups in Japan and they’re considered Jpop there.

Also Honey Popcorn is fully Japanese & they’ve never been considered a Jpop group

Even in Japan they’re dubbed as a Kpop group, so if both countries see them as such AND they actually cater within the Kpop scene along with having a whole Korean release with the possibility of a full blown Korean debut in the future, then THEY ARE A KPOP GROUP. Don’t be butthurt they got more attention and sales in Korea + all together than some of your all Korean Kpop groups got

That’s the thread, argue with your mothers lol

    Oh and stan NiziU

  • Lubby00

Changed the title of the thread from “NiziU is still related to Kpop, hang it up” to “NiziU is still related to Kpop, get over it”.
  • Does it matter? Just enjoy their songs. To me it does not make song any worse, if it is Japanese. Vice versa, because I can understand Japanese a lot better, than Korean.
