ARMYS can celebrate.
But India's music market is highly diverse and unorganized, for this chart to be any big deal. But yes, probably international songs are easier to track and rank.
As to BTS filling stadiums, maybe one or two concerts in metros, more for the catchet value than anything, the rich will line up to attend.
Still they probably have the best name recognition among all the kpop acts.
Good for them.
Funny thing is even IU has a Uaena branch in India. At least BTS sings English songs..
The whole fandom thing is increasingly like cults. It is for the sake of 'belonging', than any substance.
Pop for korea is like Cricket for India.
Western genre mastered by non-West, so much that the non-Western is now the dominant player.

international chart got kpoppies writing a bunch of essays. LOL. wbk.

Lmao they can sell stadium like bieber did in india. They have big fanbase here. And that thesis had no sense. People like BTS. No rocket science.
And anyways selling 2 stadiums is enough to gross 10 to 12 million usd in ticket sales alone. Amazing result for any artist

To kpop stans,
Your portraying the achievements of BTS's as easy peasy things makes your fav nonexistent in music world as your favs couldn't even reach the feet level of BTS's achievement though they debuted before BTS though they debuted from establish company having privilege. So sit down. Don't make further clowning.
And India loves BTS. No matter how many Fansites thingy your fav has in India, they don't have any song charting in India. And predicting Stadium tour in India, tell them to sell 300K online concert tickets 1st.

India does not 'love' BTS, 99.99% of India won't even know that Kpop exists, leave alone BTS. - India has a billion plus people, so that is rather an exaggerated statement.
But the percent that does know Kpop, yes among then BTS is probably the most recognized brand and that .01% concentrated in the metro, will surely fill a stadium or two, if BTS performs in India. Other kpop groups not so much.
Otherwise hyperbole is hilarious distortion. But then lot of i-fans think Kpop dominates SK, whereas the reality is that K-pop in korean is primarily consumed by the teenagers and drops off drastically when they hit college.

Thanks for your input, we are Indians and aware of the music industry too. This chart is relevant internationally as it is supported by IFPI and the big music labels.
P.S. BTS were the most popular Kpop act in India even before singing English songs.

This is an international chart, can you stop crying about Indian music market and Kpop being niche when the chart concerned does not even include regional/local acts.

BTS was most streamed group here, even before dynamite. Atleast get your facts right lmao
And no western artist has gp recognition. People know their names. People Know BTS names or you expect every 60 plus to know their names?. People dont even know new gen of bollywood celebs lol
Thing is BTS brand is known and that is what matters in end. BTS, swift, bieber , shakira are only one capable of selling out tickets here. Noone else
So yes they are most important non indian act
They don't have to be known by every indian..They can sell tickets which is most important. It is big thing for international artists

Let them cry. Their fave can't even fill an arena here, let alone cricket stadium lol

This is a unique one, an IU stan crying about Kpop. Dismissing BTS' popularity in India as just being driven by English songs while propping IU up in India cause of some fanclub. Lmao. Then he has to move to dismissing Kpop in the Korean market.
Going by the drivel some people spew, BTS is not popular anywhere, neither in their home market or abroad. Tch tch tch
