I recently came across the first reaction video and had already seen the second one. Both of the reactors touched upon one common thing about the song that struck them and touched their hearts.
BTS's sincerity, which is reflected through the topics they chose to talk about in the song as well as the way they chose to film the MV. Both of these things grounded the song.
A song like LGO talking about the problems that came with the pandemic, trying to comfort us, from the biggest musical artists right now could've gone wrong in several ways.
They are smart songwriters and storytellers. Taking the little things from their experiences, their songs and the promises they make through those don't feel empty or cheesy.
I don't know how to end this thread but I'll say it isn't a surprise they managed to gather the largest fanbase when they continously make songs that can touch hearts of millions of people and convey their sincerity so well.
