Do we thank EXO or BTS for the revival of the physical market?

BTS. EXO's sales plateau-ed for some times before getting a boost around 2017. Kpop has sold more physicals in 2020 than a last few years. Part of the reason is better distribution deals across the globe after 2017.

Genuine question : Did 2nd gen groups had repacks?.

I do know the sales of top groups were around 400k but I am not sure if that involves repacks too.
