rbmr in mama 2020, the actors presenting the awards for few mins were given waiting rooms whereas the idols participating in an award show dedicated solely for them were waiting in the car parks in the cold weather

I forgot about that
The actors got five star catering while bts and other idols were out dying in the cold. That pissed me off so much. -
Ain't he already?

Actually, BTS and Twice got their own waiting room in the building (same as the actors) but the other kpoo groups had to wait in their cars until they were called to perform.
Yeah. There is definitely a difference in how SK treat their actors and their kpop idols - which is maddening as a lot of idols are definitely as talented (or more so) than some of these actors.

They really tried to disrespect someone that even a politician doesn't want to mess with in Korea. Whoever are those who didn't stand up or clap, their career is either over, or will be taking a huge dip. Also, remember the fact that he might be more famous than some of the people there. He is also well respected and loved by idols who are becoming extremely famous lately. Yes, BlackPink and BTS respect and like YJS too. Those who didn't stand or clapped will be going up against a very big percentage of Korea's population, a percentage a China's population, and the fans of Running Man. Who knows, maybe the fans of the idols too, who personally experienced how nice YJS is.

They clapped? Is standing ovation some forced compulsory act?
They clapped and i find it normal.
Anything to make issue of

1. a whole lot of them didn't clap too forget standing
2. there were two daesang distributed, they all stood up when the director won the daesang but when the same daesang was given to jaesuk only a very few stood up..
if all their asses could stand for a director winning a daesang then they could very well do the same for the other daesang winner...
its all about showing respect... if they wanted to react in a certain way they should have been consistent about it and not discriminated against a variety personality like that

1. Ok few r stuckup agree
2. Its more about equations. Not standing up = not disrespecting? I dont agree
I have seen oscars where they stand for some and dont.
Actors work with top directors and are more close to their circle
Its nothing big according to me. Discrimination? More like their bond and work circle is different.
They dont owe standing ovation to anyone and can stand for whom they wish to
So who clapped for him didnt disrespect him
We can agree to disagree

not everyone has worked with the said director and yet they still stood up.. a whole lot of variety stars that visited stood up for directors..
most of these actors have went to yjs shows for promoting their dramas and movies and use him as a way for promo so we cannot talk about circle here..
but anyways you do you.. to me its disrespectful

Idk, but I laughed so hard at how visible is Song Joong-ki because of his white suit in a black suit crowd lol. He is so extra
Anyway, it's very disrespectful tbh. Imagine if they would get an award and no one clapped. They simply didn't bother to clap just because they weren't visible on camera.
I'm sad that some of my favs don't have good manners and I hope this was a cold shower for them, but tbh for some actors, I'm not surprised lol.

I'm more surprised JaeJae didn't stand up
