Why they said pizza in New York is better?

It's just (moderately) thin greasy and cheap. I used to live an the middle of no where and the best you could get was chain pizza like Domino's or Papa Johns. I've never had Chicago style or traditional Italian so I can't say it's the "better".

I mean, I feel like I've heard people praise NY pizza, but I hear more praise for deep-dish, Chicago style pizza. Though, I'm from Wisconsin which is super close to Illinois so maybe that's why?

NY and Neapolitan style are my favorite types of pizza by miles. I love a good, thin crust.

Matter of preference for crust styles. A lot of people like the NY Style chewy crust. Sauce and Topping is common with other Pizza styles.
