Honestly, nothing that comes out from bp is bad. It's the nugu things like line distribution and screen time which makes a big difference to blinks.

In case of blackpink, yg is always after the international audience. Songs like lsg are usually their b-sides. Like dkwtdwy,hope not etc etc. If yg wants to do something different, they should do it with their new gg, not bp. They're well off in their black concept

I dont think Blackpink should ignore their domestic market though. They just need to strike a balance

Not like they only promote one song per album. They can afford to be diverse

they don't need to please the knetizens, because all they do is accuse yg of some vicious scandals. Yg is after the foreign markets now, they've started to invest in some ent companies in china. Lisa's a big star there, and she's bringing in enormous revenue into yg's funds.

If they do something like lsg, it will be oblivious, won't make any impact in international charts and will weaken the image of bp. Songs like lsg deserves to be b-sides, not title tracks

I like songs like AIIYL and LSG

I feel that if they keep doing bnagers like D4 HYLT people will get sick of them.

Anyway, they will DEFINITELY release both types of songs for next comeback. Im pretty sure of that. Maybe this round they will switch the sequence

You shouldn't look into the discussion forums of kpop stans. They will make you believe that bp is using the same success formula and it's getting boring now. The thing is , it's selling very nicely. Whereas songs like lsg should be their b-side tracks. Aiiyl is a great track, i'm not against it. Songs like lovesick girls, don't know what to so deserves to be b-sides, and shouldn't sabotage the other quality songs in the album. I feel bad for pretty savage

We all can hold on to our own opinion

Being a fan SINCE their debut with Whistle, in any sense, i dont feel LSG was a bad move at all. You might not like it but it cemented them as a solid GG like 2ne1. The next comeback will do well as well.

Even pretty savage to certain extent

HYLT and Pretty savage are both from the same album. And HYLT performed much better than LSG overall. And pretty savage is a highly successful b side

Tbh BP has barely swayed away from their signature sound. And why will they it works for them.
