HOT ISSUE Group members , a LOT of them were TRAINEES with other established K-pop Agencies ... The TALENT Level seems good ... Increasingly , a LOT of TRAINEES *wonder* IF they will EVER get to DEBUT ... So , they 'move on' to an AGENCY situation where they can actually DEBUT ... Which is likely what has happened with HOT ISSUE Group members ... NO IDEA here just who is running their AGENCY = S2 Entertainment ... A *good* example of a TRAINEE choosing to 'Move On' in order to DEBUT , is TRI.BE Group Member (Leader) = SONG SUN = *Over 8 Years* as TRAINEE with other AGENCIES ... Then there is (IU's personal friend) YOO IN NA , who was *11 YEARS* a TRAINEE , different AGENCIES , and NEVER did manage to DEBUT ... Finally , YOO IN NA succeeded in ACTING ROLES via YGe Agency ... EXID Group had two members (HANI , JUNGHWA) who were past JYPe Agency 'cast offs' (more as just never could DEBUT somehow) ... Look at (IOI Group #1 Rated) JEON SOMI with JYPe Agency (she moved on to YGe Agency = The Black Label , finally).

From what I've seen from Hot Issue, they're very good. The debut EP is a really good listen and I already found a bias in Hyeongshin.
