I don't actually have any friends that are as into the boys as I am, so I've started creating different media (starting with a video series, putting together a podcast) and I'm just looking to share my excitement, and get opinions from anyone who thinks this kind of mash-up thinking is fun.

Just saw the Intro video and Jin video. I love the idea of smashing 2 pop culture together, very creative.
I was into x-men a while back so not really up to speed with their characters.. My favourite was Jane Grey (when she was Phoenix) and Gambit so I kinda agree with your take on Jin!
In my opinion, based on my sketchy memory of X-Men and their characters;
RM is Professor X - wise, leader or Beast - clever, huge, funny
