haven't seen A Silent Voice myself, but Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid was a great break for me after watching a more serious anime. Good stuff!
If I remember correctly, I think Silent Voice is a movie
The female main character is deaf and the main male character tries to befriend her after realizing all the bad things he's done to her in the past. It kind of focuses on the art of sign language in some sense.
It's quite sad and emotional, but I like it.

Surprised nobody said Madhouse. They've produced some of the best shows of all time although I haven't watched anything since ACCA in 2017 so I'm not sure if they're the same high quality they used to be
I think there's one comment before you that mentioned Madhouse as one of their favorite. not sure about their most recent stuff either, but I remember being really intrigued with Perfect Blue and Girl who leapt through time.
