The most recent example is Yuqi from Idle, she flew back to China and had some self-quarantine time in a hotel just to, later on, join Keep Running cast (Chinese version of Running Man)...

that would be best possible promotion for Lisa before her solo release to drop her in China, let her rest a bit in hotel, she would even be able to do more video calls with trainees, and then let her stay there and film as much "present" content as they can.

At this point if her solo is coming (who even knows) I can see why she needs to be in SK. Also she has some high profile things coming up like that fashion jury thing, and is also possibly going to appear on Kingdom with iKon, so I can see how they wouldn't want to risk it.

And if a SEA celeb was to bring Covid back from China, knetz would never shut up about it.

However if months pass and we see nothing of Lisa after YWY, then it will be another Ugh, YG moment to add to the collection.

China is safe from covid, they even now have big concerts and festivals with fans... when in Korea they can't even open music tv shows for those 300-400 fans.
