congrats. I enjoyed watching Minari

Korea is really making an impact in the entertainment scene

They have BTS, last year it was Parasite, this year it is Minari. Although Minari is not a Korean produced movie the story is about South Korean immigrants.

When will Kdramas win awards like this?

That's great ! I couldn't stay awake for the Oscars, I'll have to catch up, but the selection was kind of interesting this year !

I really advise everybody to watch Minari ! It's really about the American Dream, for an Asian-American family, and seen from a child's perpective. Yuh-Jung Youn is great in it, and so are every other actors !

I thought she was the second or the second Asian to win, I'm not sure. I know that Chloe Zhao is the first Asian/Chinese woman to win best director and the 2nd woman in Oscar history to win that award. Asians represented well at the Oscar's.
