    XG have been so consistant these past few years releasing bops after bops after bops

    their discography is full of BOPS, absolutely no skips


    and there's still so few of them in the fandom !!!


    XG deserve so much more attention, and love

    they give everything that anybody would want in a group Vocals, rap, dancing, stage presence, Concept, aesthetic,


    Like how can you not like XG or not be a fan when they are the full package group

    I like there music but wish they would go back to the Shooting Star and Left Right type of concept and outfits styles. Kind of more kpoppy... Some of their recent mv's are too quirky, also I'm not a fan od group name change.

    Because they're a Jpop group from a Japan company, you can’t really expect them to suddenly be accepted by the KPOP community that prefers KOREAN-based groups. That kind of acceptance takes time and would probably take years to break through.


    Unlike Katseye, who have a Korean member and are backed by a joint partnership involving a major Kpop company with lots of dedicated stans, XG’s growth is obviously more gradual but still impressive. Eight of their songs have earned RIAJ streaming certifications in Japan, meaning each surpassed 50 million streams. They’re doing well and steadily growing their fandom, you just can’t judge them by the usual Kpop metrics and progress.

    yes their mv and outfit are more conceptual


    But music wise I think it didn't change much from shooting star and left right

    Gala, Hypnotizin etc... still are in the same vibe than these 2 songs

    Tey make good music, but I still think their peak sound was left right and shooting star. Those 2 songs were perfection but I don't mind the direction they went to.


    I think the issue with the group is they're not really a kpop group, so they're not going to attract kpop fans. Unsure how well they're performing in Japan but they would have to rely on that market for attention. I'm a fan of theirs and it would be nice if more people check out music but they would have to improve marketing for that.
