Do you think this is a massive Red Flag or not?

One of the most disgusting promos imo, but who am I to say that right?

So, what's your take on promoting your new group with a missing child style cereal box?

Not a public vote so you can hide.😂

This is obviously about Mean Heejin and ADOR as well. Imo, they're a match made in Hell.

  • I think you are the biggest red flag trying to call out "red flags" while being colorblind :exit-pepe:

Yeah, I'm the red flag for pointing out the disgusting PR from these toxic people.

If you think there's nothing wrong with these promos, especially with that "missing child" one, you're part of the problem.

Many people lost their children and used this method to find them, and MHJ used it to debut minors between 14-18.

    What a hero she is.

Meanwhile ADOR is promoting whatever shit they want to with a literal mental asylum looking place and also AI.

  • Cool story.

  • I think if we are looking for the smallest thing to get mad, you'll find a way to criticize and find something problematic in every PR things

tbh honest I don't see any problem, and I didn't think about missing child at all

to me it only look like they put their face on a cereal box to remind people the fun and childish side of cereal and a hint to the image that the group will probably have

this "missing child" thing on cereal box or milk is only a thing in USA, I think so unless you live here there's a really small chance that you're aware about it

  • The "missing poster" reminded me of movies like the "wanted poster', not missing child and I fail to see how they are disrespecting people over it.

The milk thing is also a thing in Brazil, but it isn't just about child, they put missing adults too.

  • I heard this MV gave David a stroke

don't know about other country, I just saw this in American movies

but it's not really a thing for example in a continent like Europe for example (at least I've never saw it in Italy, France or Spain)

and yeah the "missing/wanted" aesthetic because so much common in PR and Marketing so I don't see this as a disrespect

    Yep.

  • this reminds that rather than being about the music itself, it’s really just about commodifying the idols’ personalities and the group’s concept. In other words, it’s just a more aesthetic version of something that has always existed in kpop, in my opinion.

  • Whether we like it or not, debuting minors is a norm in k-pop and there's nothing inherently wrong with using AI. So no, no red flags here.

That's not even the main point here. This is MHJ's source material for her promo. Yeah, no red flags here, right?

As for the other idiot, the scene was literally set in a mental asylum.

RT @pradaburger: using “missing child on the back of a cereal box” as a concept is weird asf.

    Nothing wrong with AI?

Well, we can argue about this for months if you want. These are the main problems with AI.

    1. It literally kills our planet, look it up.

    2. 1000s of artists are losing their jobs because AI is cheaper and faster, and we're only talking about the music and film industry. I never mentioned the others like translators, because huge platforms like Netflix, Disney, Warner, Amazon etc use AI to translate movies and shows, and ask people to fix it for much less money.

    Lastly, AI looks like shit.

About minors. Sure, it was always a thing in Kpop but just because it's the norm, doesn't make it right.

  • Says the one who excuses their racists faves not long ago. But yes, ignorant.

I never did any of them. You're the one who is still promoting Allday Project and Blackpink, not me even though neither of them apologized. And now you're siding with a toxic woman who ruined the lives of 5 girls including like 3 minors. Using AI that ruins our planet, and promoting her company with "missing children" influenced pictures.

You have a talent for picking the wrong people.

  • What a lame excuse. So, just because something is only a thing in the USA people in other countries can do it without any backlash?

Then, we should never criticize Kpop Idols or companies if they do something bad that's related to the US or any other Western country. Go, ask a parent who lost their child what they think about a cereal box promo with a missing child. Wonder if they think it's "fun and childish" too.

Also, the reason so many bad things can happen in Kpop is because people ignore the small problems.

Missing poster and Wanted poster are not the same thing.
