I have genuine question about fashion shows/weeks

Because fashion is fashion, regardless of gender.

to draw more attention, labels invite ambassadors of both gender to attend.

I've always wondered about this as well. Yes, they can attend fashion shows focusing on clothing for the opposite gender, it's not like the shows are segregated, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense when they could be sent to a show focusing on clothing for their own gender instead.

Fashion doesn't know gender and I suppose they want to keep this mentality by not restricting for who their clothes are made.

A lot of men wear women clothes and vice versa so they'll obviously capitalize on their ambassadors/models/influencers to expand this reach even more.

Except the actual fashion brands explicitly say who the clothing being shown off is meant for. They'll literally put it in the title of the show. It's the idols of the opposite gender showing up to these shows that's being questioned.

Though it's true fashion can be for anyone, and it's far from unheard of that men model women's clothes and vice versa. I mean even for kpop Felix has walked the catwalk for Louis Vuitton's Women's collections.

Yes, that's why I said men wearing women's clothes and vice versa. It's men clothes, women clothes and anybody can wear it.

Anyone can appreciate art. It’s not gendered.
