Taylor had 5M for her whole time period and spotify themselves posted this record for her. For kpop stray kids had 1.02M with their previous album. It clearly shows the fandom strength and possible streaming success for album (more than physical preorders)

Bts did 1.4 M in just 2 days and we still have 2 months left

I take it as just one indicator of this album’s potential and that BTS will be doing well for this comeback.

But what irk me is that there is a group of antis that try to promote the narrative that BTS will flop, they will not achieve success as before yada yada

And then indicators that disproves their assumptions LOL - and so they are just in denial that they were wrong. Some are even spiraling too… I hope they will be okay as things will be ramping up since we are still 2 months away

anyone saying BTS will flop with this comeback is utterly delusional lmaooo, anyways breaking a Taylor Swift record is HUGE, she's THE #1 female popstar of this generation AND has the biggest fandom, actually ARMYS are the only fandom who has any possibility of competing against swifties when it come to pure core fandom numbers, and BTS is the only artist capable of coming close to the eras numbers (if they add even more dates and tour for a long time on stadiums over the world like she did).
