and one of x users did a nice wrap up:
1. WM Ent has moved to its parent company RBW's Jayang-dong headquarters, while MW Ent stayed at the Mangwon-dong building, which is Lee Wonmin's property.
2. WM's momentum slowed down after becoming a subsidiary of RBW Ent in 2021:
※ Revenue had grown for four consecutive years, from 5.6 billion KRW in 2018 to 17.7 billion KRW in 2021.
※ The company turned profitable in 2020.
※ But starting from 2023, losses returned.
※ By Q3 of 2025, cumulative revenue had fallen to 8.6 billion KRW.
3. Wonmin attempted a turnaround with USPEER's debut in June 2025, but RBW opted for change. Two months later, in August, he stepped down as CEO.
4. Industry observers see the launch of MW Ent and the recruitment of USPEER as Wonmin's attempt to achieve what he could not under WM. Now free from RBW's influence, attention is on whether he can reclaim his reputation through USPEER.
5. An MW Entertainment representative said, "USPEER will resume activities this year, and in the long term we plan to produce a new boy group. We are currently recruiting trainees for that project".
