You get some GG's companies trying to push that narrative through their PR Departments, meanwhile cheap ass JYPE, rely on their Artists to generate interest by providing them regular content that torture people's lives that throw all their love at them for free.

Over the years, TWICE has converted staunch Blinks, many hated the "Cute Concept" but now are so hooked that some want to slap their younger versions for not jumping on the boat sooner.

JYPE really struck gold with TWICE, they should be thankful to the 2 American girls that left 6Mixx or it would have been an entirely different company.

Honestly, I think TWICE would be even more famous if they had American members in the group. The initial hype would have existed anyway, given the BOPs that BEP produced for them.

This without any english speaking Member. I think Twice is the only major Kpop group currently active that really does not have an English speaking member and is still worldwide popular. This just shows how amazing they were. They were never meant for world success. JYPE made them for Asia, they just became huge everywhere

Well....

Technically Mina was an American citizen until 2019 where she had to relinquish either being an American Citizen or a Japanese Citizen.

And...

It really wouldn't have mattered in TWICE's case because they'd start promoting in America then COVID stopped everything so wouldn't really reach their Shores properly until 2022. Even then, TWICE holds the best annual Pure Album Sales for a Kpop GG in America for the last 5 years.

She was popular enough on Sixteen but there was such a massive gap in experience, she was just too much of a kid.

Also, the only person she could have replaced based on the MILK Votings, was Chaeyoung whom charted in the Top 10, 6 out of 8 times, the next was Mina and Sana with 7 times, Somi charted 4.
