And I see many people saying they're not interested but they all end watching it and complaining in the end

Exactly. I don't care about charts when talking about vocal and dance performances. They should use those categories to highlight great performances in their respective categories. I don't think after watching both performances you can choose "Hot" as the one to be nominated.
This is part of the reason why I don't watch award shows that often, but will check performances after it's done.

I was mostly interested this year to see who would win Rookie of the year but since MNET combined male and female into one category, it’s obvious which group it’s going to.
So in simple terms I’m no longer interested. Early congrats to ADP.
Not necessarily. They combined the categories in 2014 because AKMU was huge; Winner won ROTY.

After they robbed LSRFM of Song of the Year last year, i dont care. Whether they were paid off by Kakao/SM to give the award to Aespa or for some other bullshit reason, Perfect Night righffully earned the win based on MAMA's own metrics.
I've defended MNET because they birthed Izone. But the cowardice or greed they showed in this decision made me lose all respect for them.

AESPA genuinely deserved whatever awards they got last year.
Although, I think MAMA didn't nominate Perfect Night because it was a CF.
