This analogy speaks for itself in real time Look at your aespa positive post getting zero engagement if this was the complete opposite I would be posting on page 253 right now!

We just need the same engagement and energy for this too

This performance isn't that different from the GMA one. They just have backup dancers and the camera work isn't as anemic.

Major improvement and I never understood why they send Aespa without backup dancers and make them lipsync. This comment is not towards Aespa but more so the choreographer Lee Jung. I don't think she had proper execution for Richman choreography which set Aespa up.She might be better for more hip hop based choreography but I felt she got it wrong which is why this comeback has been messy.

I hope for their next comeback SM chooses their choreographer better. Nice to see them turn it around.

it rather feels like she made the choreography without knowing who it was for

this is those types of choreos that isn't really hard but at the same time, only professional dancers can do it justice so i most def think she should've at least modified it to match aespa's skill set and in a way that isn't overly dependent on the backup dancers' energy

God I love them. I was on the fence about the song because it was so repetitive but the performance made me like Rich Man much more. I criticize aespa when they do a bad job because I know they’re good, talent wise. If I thought they were bad I wouldn’t bother criticizing their stage. They actually listened and I love them for that.

As for the people saying they couldn’t pull it off without the backup dancers. Of course not! The choreography itself is dependent on back up dancers.

Karina pretending to dance with ghosts and lay her back in the air at GMA wasn’t her fault. It’s whoever thought the power of imagination was enough without backup dancers doing their part. Needing backup has nothing to do with dance skills.
