  • Somehow these Korean celebrities are like on a different level. They can act well, sing well, dance well and even host well. Most of them are all-rounders dedicated to performance. Kudos to them for being so diligent! https://9apps.ooo/

  • As an artist, I don't know Jun all that well. He was only with U-Kiss for about a year before I stepped away from boy groups, but I remember him being a strong addition. However, I've seen him in plenty of dramas. Acting was a smart move for him. He's done well for himself so far. I like both of these songs. The ballad is giving OST vibes. I can't remember, has Jun sung an OST for any of the dramas he's participated in?

  • Thank you. I couldn't remember, but I knew it didn't seem right that he wouldn't have. I didn't watch Imitation, but I'm disappointed in myself for not remembering Let Me Be Your Knight. Also, thanks for sharing "Be Your Man." It reaffirms my initial impression of him.

I loved let me be your knight a lot more then imitation to be honest. Plus the cast was amazing

  • I agree on the cast. I thoroughly enjoyed the drama. It wasn't groundbreaking by any means, but for me, it was almost always engaging. He's gotten even better as an actor since then.

I though the vocals were really good, alot of the casts i enjoyed as soloists already, cept the one actor im not sure if he really sang in the drama or not, no one has been able to find out but if he did he has a great voice. I just wasn't too thrilled with the overall storyline of imitation, some of the songs were good, the acting was okay, it was a first for ateez members.

Jun has done such a variety of rolls, that one silly one where he acted like a dog sitll has me laughing hard.

You are referring to Love and Leashes, yes? I watched it for Seohyun, but by gosh did he make me laugh too. The amount of first-hand and second-hand embarrassment on the set must have been off the scale.

Yess thats' the name. I was like god i hope they paid him enough to act like this.

I literally could not control my laughter the poor man lol

  • Thankfully this kind of role was a one-and-done for him, because I've seen people be typecast for less. Imagine being the go-to guy for similarly unserious roles.

It was just so funny going from serious roles in imitation and let me be your knight to that. i was like that was a definite quick change, I hope he had fun filming it at least but damn it was comedy gold, I went in expecting some weird bdsm fetish stuff and i got something completely different. I literally lost it. Great acting but i just can't help be like omfg how much did they pay you lol

then he was a complete bully in weak hero class 2 and i'm like man you can do anything. omg he was great in the impossible heir along with lee jaewook. I suggest badland hunters as well, he's really a great versatile actor.

Yeah, I was unfamiliar with the source material, so I wasn't sure what to expect. At the very least, he proved his versatility, and he's continuing to do so.

He was great in Weak Hero Class 2. His introduction really helped set the tone. I've seen Badland Hunters. He was the likeable sidekick who bordered on useless but had a lot of heart. Interestingly, Ma Dongseok and the actress who played the woman who joined their crew were just in Twelve together. I instantly recognized her kicks.

On a side note, since you seem to be dialed into the Rampage, do you know if they have any future plans for the High & Low franchise?

There's an anniversary event coming up but I'm not sure if they are going to do another movie, though they should. Cause Kazuma is my heart.

makes me laugh since women were like null and void for the most part in this series lol

  • Thanks for this. I really hope they do. It was the only thing that managed to fill the void after Crows Zero.

I think they handled the handoff from Murayama to Fujio well. The boys from The Rampage were great additions, and I was looking forward to seeing where the story was heading since they set up some interesting plots. Murayama was my favorite character in the franchise. I'll be sad if I don't get to see that character again, even if it's just a cameo at this point.

When you say re-release, do you mean physical media? I only ask because where I am, the movies from Road To High & Low onwards are available on Netflix with English subtitles. It's a bummer about the first two seasons and the spin-off shows not being on there though.

I have them on netflix, and I have the 2nd and 3rd movie and the worst x with english subs as physical copies, iw ant all of them as physical copies with english subs for collection purposes. Nothing lasts forever on Netflix and I don't understand Japanese to not use subs. On yesasia they managed to release the 2nd and 3rd movie in taiwanese version with english subs but nothing else which is a bummer.

Muryama was a great character he was one of my faves along with smoky, ngl i cried with what happened to smoky, but I also loved Hiroomi tosaka and takahiro as the amamiya brothers, Takanori as Gun, there was quite a few rampage members that started coming around in the worst X series, but Kazuma's role was top tier. I just love that man lol. I've seen everything 100 times except i have not watched the side one for the Mighty Warriors. I need to 'casue Alan Shirahama and Sway lol

Ok. Yeah, I totally get that. I've been hoping they release a subtitled collection set. With Japanese prices being what they are, for example, the Worst X Blu-ray alone comes to $116 AUD, I know it's financially unfeasible, but I'd make it work somehow for the chance to have everything.

There are so many great characters. It was just such a smart project overall. They had basically an endless talent pool. And the success between the franchise and the groups involved was symbiotic. You either liked the franchise and got into the artists, or you liked the artists and just had to check it out and ended up loving it.
