like it would have been amazing to see her perform like jennie and then followed by ot4 jump . both songs are pretty short too.

they were never going to come. jennie wouldn't be getting any solo awards and lisa would be getting a kpop award for a western collab while rose would be getting a non-kpop award. it was obvious rose was the only one attending. if they were all nominated in the right categories and won at least one award, they would have come.

you know what? i feel like the reason the girls waren't there (except rose) and specially Lisa who might have performed with Doja potentially, was because they were supporting Jennie for the way vma snubbed her.

i feel like all the girls were angry for the way vma treated jennie. so they kinda boycotted the vma. except rose of course for her historical win. but even she arrived later (was not there for the carpet).

Personally, I don't think they should have won group of the year. BP had zero activity until July and only came out with a single pre-release...but then again this is MTV and the vast majority of their winners never make any sense.

what in the parasocial olympics is this? lol it's really not that deep. it's the VMAs, not the grammys or oscars

rose arrived later cuz she was in china. she arrived in nyc (where the vmas took place) 5-6 hours before the show started. need to get makeup, hair done, etc

I just mean it's not like it's great year with only one single that was a big meh,so if you look at this year alone it's not that great. But show that the competions is not that hard.

Not surprised about apt, it was literally everywhere. I don't think it's surprising that born again was nominated in a kpop category, I do think it will still take time for the blackpink girls to be seen as artists outside of kpop. I had no idea born again was this big though.
