I have no clue why it's popular and I clearly would not know who would like them amongst my favorites.

some ateez members like them but tbh i dont know if they own any themselves. there's cute vids of fans showing off their labubus and ateez being fun abt it. one fan even had san open a labubu package and san pulled the secret/rare labubu and everyone was excited.

They seem to be popular amongst ATEEZ members too.

And I have heard that some fans are cancelling their faves over having a labubu...

Well... that is a ridiculous reason to cancel someone.

Yeah a mix of those as well as funko pops with fur. I feel like everyone I see has or wants these. Im sure there is a timeline but I feel like I went to sleep woke up and out of nowhere these things are all the rage.

Finally a fad Im too old for. This just proves people will consume just to consume.
