KCon LA 2025 DAY 1-3 performances + my rankings!

I said this many times over the years, KCon is not the same anymore, it's boring and there's not much to HEAR, and fans usually just want to see their faves, and don't care about anything else.

So, after Day 1, this is my TOP5.

1. Lee Youngji (the only one with 100% live singing, and her 1st Kcon too)

2. Baby Don't Cry (they weren't the most impressive, but I have to rate them higher than the 3rd one, because this was their 1st Kcon and they're rookies)

3. IVE (mostly live performance and great performance, also this song is really grew on me)

4. P1Harmony (they were the best boy group today with the most live parts)

5. IS:SUE (they were the most impressive girl group for me today!)

ZB1 and NOWZ also did good, btw, and sadly NCT127 didn't make the list either, because I'm done with SM not letting their Idols sing live. Doesn't matter how cool they are on stage, I only rate live singing.

You can argue with my ranking and tell yours, but don't argue with live singing, it's not a personal opinion, just pure facts, and yes, I watched everyone's full performances.

My DAY2 ranking!

This was the best day so far! So, TOP5 of DAY2:

1. NMIXX (no surprise here! Like I said, they're the final boss of Kpop)

2. MONSTA X (It has to be them because even tho there were some LIVE AR as well, their stage was fire)

3. Yuqi (Not a surprise really, almost the whole performance was live except the collab with Zhang Hao, but that performance was great too!)

4. Jackson Wang (my GOT7 guy knows how to perform, there's not much else I can say)

5. aespa (there's no other performer left really, but they kinda deserve the 5th spot, because I heard more live singing than usual, it's just the backing track was loud as hell)

So, after the last day, here's my TOP5!

1. Hwasa (what a stage was this, she set the whole Kcon fire, and even brought back Mamamoo, not that I'm surprised, they always do this at their solo stages, and the fact that people barked again for her😂)

2. NMIXX

3. Monsta X

4. i-dle (another group that knows how to put on a show and sing live)

5. IVE

Not sure if the fans are ready for that, but sure, here's the 5 worst! Mostly because of the lip-sync battle.

1. IZNA (by far the worse performance of the weekend, their dancing was good, but I don't care about that at all)

2. ALLDAY PROJECT (Live "singing" but a MESS on stage with zero effort, just another let's act cool)

3. NCT127 (good performance, but live singing were left in Korea, I hate you SME)

4. Kep1er (another good performance without much live singing, and this one was even more disappointing because I know they're talented)

5. RIIZE (again, another disappointing SME group stage, I'm so done with SM)

Now, if any other person sees this thread, can throw the rocks. 🤣
