Honestly, I don’t think Hoshi was being shady at all. The post he liked wasn’t trashing BTS, it was just expressing disappointment over SEVENTEEN not getting the "Best Dance Performance" award back in 2019, which many fans (even multi-fans) have debated for years. The comments under the post, while emotional, are mainly critiquing MAMA’s decisions, not attacking BTS directly.
Liking a post about your own group's hard work being overlooked, especially when it's from a performance like "HIT," which SEVENTEEN absolutely killed, doesn’t automatically mean you're throwing shade at others. Even if looks like that to some people I am pretty sure his intention was not to throw shade on the bts. It's just carats being shady towards bts in the post's comment section which made it look like this.
