I honestly don't know. But for some reason both vlive and weverse used/use views. Maybe it's because it looks better 9m number than 350k.
YouTube shows viewers during lives and after livestream has finished they show views. That's the transparent way of doing things but kpop companies don't want to be transparent, it seems.
