Only way NewJeans will be NewJeans is if they make a settlement, they will not be able to use that name if not.

I think the ship have sailed for them if you compare to BP. Sure, the real hardcore fans will still be fans when/if they comeback, but hardcore fans are just a small group and more casual fans and the general public will not feel the same about them anymore. Sure, nothing is impossible and you never know, music is music and they can suprise with really good songs, but I doubt that....
