As your resident Mayuka fangirl, every era is hers in my opinion, but I had NO idea how popular she was until I started watching Take A Picture reaction videos.
She's snatching fanboys by the HAND FULL!!! I have also seen SO many J-withU praising her styling for this MV. Saying the stylist needs a raise. Especially for the red fit.

Mayuka is probably the epitome of a come from behind to succeed contestant of recent notoriety. For those that didn't follow the series she was essentially eliminated all 3 times only to come from behind at the last minute and make it.
1. Regional qualifiers. She was put on the waiting list as she didn't qualify at the beginning and JYP called about 4 girls who he hadn't passed to go to the Tokyo camp.
2. At the Tokyo camp they gave out cubes and in the very last performance she went in with 0 out of 4 cubes and came out of it with 3 out of 4. You could see the other girls crying when it was announced she had earner her cubes all at one shot.
3. She was fairing moderately poorly in the evaluation performances in Korea but pulled out an incredible RAP performance of 2PM's Heatbeat. It was awesome and she probably would have been eliminated and not make the final group except for that. No one had ever heard her rap before that.

You are so right! It's crazy how she went from barely making it into NiziU to being the stan attractor she is!
