There are much more insidious things happening in the Kpop industry (IN OUR FACES) and the fact that male idols not feminizing choreo gets people this upset is alarming.

People make fun of GG choreo all the time, so people are naturally going to get defensive since GGs go through so much misogyny already. And even when a male idol does it correctly, he is made fun of too for being too feminine. I think everyone these days is afraid of being made fun of or that their faves are being made fun of.
I think it’s very obvious when someone is making fun of something vs when they’re just dancing.
For example I saw some comments about TXT yeonjun who seems to be the perfect punching bag for these ppl. That dude is just dancing the choreo how he feels comfortable it’s not like as if he’s making fun of it.

May be the reason behind it is that ggs acquired a lot of edgy western pop girls and models stans through blackpink's success in fashion and they see trolling and being vile on social media as some kind of fun hobby😒😒
I don't know if this is per BP or any other group, but I do agree that the edgy western stans are vile af and their influx into Kpop (while at the same time still feeling above Kpop) is one of the unfortunate consequences of Kpop's popularity.
The reason these people absolutely hate BGs is ironically out of misogyny, as they know BGs are usually stanned by women/girls. And it's both "not like the other girls" women and men who behave that way.
Also, once they (token) stan a GG, they have no qualms whatsoever about being misogynist as hell to female idols of other GGs.
