im not disappointed then again I stan all the nobodies so im well fed with great music

It’s certainly not a top year. No NewJeans is the reason. But it’s starting to warm up. The winter/spring had good soloists, especially Jennie’s album, but also Yves and Rosé (both released late last year so the majority of listening to them was early this year). TripleS album was good. Recent KIOF song is an absolute banger and seems Aespa’s song will be a banger too. Maybe a new BLACKPINK song soon? If we can get a NewJeans/MHDHH comeback by the end of the year to crown it all off, it will have been a good year.

+2 for Aespa still being somewhat active and staying relevant, on charts and with the number of endorsements they've bagged
