Same!🤣
Jokes aside, Blackpink wouldn't be half as big if the debut in 4th gen. Just look at Babymonster.
BP being a 3rd gen group has a big part in their success.

I discovered K-pop thanks to BP (and Lisa), so the reaction will be the same.
Putting theory aside, I’ve never felt the kind of excitement that Lisa brought to the screen from any other idol (not from past idols, not from current ones, and not even from today’s Lisa, lol)
That’s just how she was, now things have changed.

Kpop peaked in the 3rd gen globally. In the 4th gen it's not true anymore. It's actually decreasing, because it's too crowded.
THIS is absolutely true.
The kpop sound, the charm and even the variety shows idols used to go to.... all of it peaked with 3rd gen and is only spiralling downwards after that... little by little.
Most fans of new groups are simply in denial.

kpop was bigger in 3rd gen but i think babbymon wouidve still been kinda flop if they debuted in 3rd gen instead of bp. their music is way less good, theres too many members, a lot of them don't have star quality, even just the name babymonster scares away a lot of people. bm is a bit too juvenile for a lot of people.
just my opinion. don't hurt me monstiez
