How was Garam able to stay relevant for 3 years despite only being a kpop idol for 2 weeks?!

  • I think there's always intrigue when a member leaves a popular group early. Soojin and Jini were able to gain a lot of instagram followers early. I remember Soojin had 2m+ followers when she started her ig. I think Jini was able to get 1m+ follower when she started hers. The point is I think there's always going to be intrigue about members leaving due to it being unheard of.

I think what helps Garam out people kept her name relevant. The discourse around her name wasn't positive but it kept her name in people's minds.

Hopefully things work out her if she's truly going to pursue acting. I have no clue with the general public will give her a chance

The difference is that Soojin was a member of G-idle for years. So she had time to build a fanbase. Jini was also in the group for a year, if I'm not mistaken. Garam was active in Le Sserafim for less than one month

    Correct

I think what kept Garam relevant was Soojin and Jini leaving because it kept her name in the cycle. Plus, there was the LSF hate train that made people bring up her name and saying stuff like she kept the group balance. It’s still fascinating to maintain popularity for 3 years when she was only an idol for like 2 weeks

  • Because people are more interested in what she could have been than what she actually is. Any member of a popular gg that left early would have people wondering the same, but I believe that women being far more harshly punished than korean men that did worse deeds is one of the reasons that give her a lot of supporters too even if she barely last for a month in k-pop industry. Of course her name wouldn't have as much buzz if she wasn't from the first hybe gg and wasn't announced as the center too.
