I think Onew is better, but I'm disregarding his Nessun Dorma.
Tbh, I really wish idols would stop singing opera. Tbf the only ones I've seen are Onew and Yunjin, but while neither of them sound bad--and let me stress that this is not an insult--they sound like they are first or second year undergrad voice majors, which makes sense because that's the extent of their classical training. In other words, definitely not ready to be singing Nessun Dorma (and Habenera in the case of Yunjin. I don't understand the thought process there at all) of all arias, first of all, because it does not fit his fach, and second, while it seems like a very simple piece, to sing it correctly requires decades of building his instrument in specifically an operatic style. -
