Well, the girls have already mentioned it, so JYPE has probably already given their okay or are in discussions about it.
And, they'll probably just print less of that album and make it limited edition. Shouldn't be that expensive to do.
They should also release a Spanish album. They seem to have a lot of fans in Spanish speaking countries.

Plus, it's not like they have to rerecord an acappella album from scratch. They can keep the vocal stems for most of their songs, and then add some cool vocal harmonies and background vocals.

Not a native speaker, so I thought they were very good. Agreed, it would be wise to test the market by having a single and then see from there.

For an album you need to pay for photoshoot or digital designer for the cover and photobook
Promotion to make sure people are aware that they are releasing an album
Partnership deal to get the album distributed
+ Printing for the entire album
+ Shipping of the album to distributor and fans
+ Mv filming abd all the people and teams that need to be involve cuz it's impossible that they release an album without a mv to promote the album

I personally think there is profit. They sell more than 500k albums per comeback. And sure they atleast can sell 50k for an acapella album. An acapella album could be recorded in one or two sesions, like an unplugged sesion. I now is kinda cheap because some pop bands in my country did these sessions, and they make way less money than Nmixx. They don't have to pay the producers for new music because there is no new music. And the MV for the album could be same session. Meanwhile in YouTube there is barely any money, only for the views.
Btw, Let's not start with the "Oh you are naive" argument, please.
