Well the thing is that it have a contrary inverse
They try to delete the content
But because they delete the content and people are talking about it
More people are looking to see what was the problematic thing that they try to completely erase from people mind
I think stuff blows over because outrage is short term and eventually something new takes over the news cycle. I am sure whatever hybe scrubbed off the internet will be forgotten the next month because something new has taken over the news cycle. Some fans will remember but for the most part it will be forgotten
