Yah or Nah : musically IU stagnate ?

The only blemish to the Concert of KPop (TOBTTCOK, pronounced tob-tt (as in the Twice song) - cock) has annoyed the entire KPop world for 15 long years but the defeat inflicted by Bibi , who killed TOBTTCOK's two title songs in one shot, seems to be decisive, as seen by the sheer lack of respect IVE members showed to the now 1,352 years old.
She terrorized the 2nd Gen with the first style, she terrorized the 3rd Gen with the second style but the third style was weak which did not impress the 4th Gen.
That's too contrived a title and does not roll off the tongue ..

i don't know whether I am allowed to use the greatest acronym for her which I used all the time at OH, namely Kpop's Least Useful Singer, Klus.

Think only "Senior Singer" achieved traction.
KLUS, Strange Creature.. not so much.. though I personally like "The Great Anachronism"

I liked her last album
-
More experimental stuff like what she tried in the Chatshire album
Chatshire was great but not innovative

Is there any definition of "innovation"?
In any case, Chatshire was impressive for she stepping up as the producer- may not be the first idol, nevertheless still a rare thing in the industry even now.
Musically - De gustibus non est disputandum.

Musically - De gustibus non est disputandum.
a new method, idea, product, etc.
plural noun: innovations
I would consider Pallette or Lilac more sonically innovative and diverse for IU. Chatshire was where she really cut her teeth and proved herself as a writer

Duh.. wasn't looking for a dictionary.
As to "new" - exceedingly impossible in music. And more globally connected, it is all already done, artists only can string new combinations.
And even that - no individual can themselves identify as objectively "new", it is merely "new to them" and that means nothing for assessments.
And that you indicate by correctly phrasing "I consider..."
Subjective.. nothing to dispute or debate there.

Or, more simply, "relative to IU"

Sure.. that is another "relative" measure. But honestly I have not listened and retained all of her discography 150+ songs, so would be cautious about claiming that as well.
Maybe you are more confident.
I do agree that I am superior based on my observations

I am as skeptical of others, as I am of myself.

I agree that Pallette and even Lilac is better than Chatshire production wise, but let's be real, is there any Musician out there, especially in Kpop who's innovative? Songwriting wise, maybe, but composition wise, not so much.

I listened to every song of IU, multiple times, so I'm far superior to both of you! 🤣
Jokes aside, I wouldn't say what IU is doing is 100% original, but one thing is for sure. She's not playing safe, or stagnate.
Even her Title Tracks are different every time she has a comeback. We can't really say the same about a lot of Kpop groups or soloists. Especially the mainstream ones.
