I'm not going to do a full grammatical analysis on your original post so I will suffice it so say that it could've been phrased differently.

Keep in mind, it's not like people can actually hear your voice so they can't guess the tone in which you are speaking. The way you phrased your comment made it seem like you were stating your opinion as an irrefutable fact while completely dismissing Mona's and everyone else's.
