The other day QWER was used as a means of insulting my beloved BABYMONSTER because of their charting. Tbh (haha), I had no clue who this group was, had only heard the name. I had to see for myself how this nugu group was able to outdo BM.
Turns out it is because their song is really f*cking good. I absolutely love the very obvious Japanese inspiration, it's like an OP for a romcom anime or something, just beautiful. I could shed a tear watching the MV, they are so cute and the use of manga-like panels was great. I thought I was done with 2024 releases but this is probably among my favorite releases this year, I've had it on repeat since yesterday. Also really like Discord and Harmony of Stars.
Anyways QWER is really good and you should check them out if you like jpop. Also cool that they are an actual band it seems? So stan QWER I guess.
