i like it i really like it, the pre chorus is great, ofc. they’re heavenly, they absolutely make the song. the chorus is going to be divisive as it attempts an pretty unusual cross over between a harder tougher girl crush and the more easy going light listening trend in kpop right now and that combination likely isn’t going to work for everyone but to me, they absolutely stick the landing and it makes for a very fun, very interesting, very different song.
the only thing i don’t have much to aay about are the verses, but that’s only because there isn’t much of them (what is there is good, though). but pointing out how short songs are getting is a common complaint under basically every new song these days so i see no point beating a dead horse. overall a great new song that feels very purple kiss that despite the divisive chorus i can see doing very well!
